Three more teenagers have been arrested over a machete attack in Solihull.

A 15-year-old boy was left with life-changing injuries after violence outside a shop on Stratford Road in Shirley on 7 February. Two other victims, aged 14 and 15, were not seriously hurt.

Four boys were arrested after the incident with one, aged 16, later charged with attempted murder, assault and possession of a bladed article. The other three were released on bail.

On Saturday, West Midlands Police confirmed three more boys, two aged 15 and one 14, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

A police spokesperson said they had since been released on bail while the investigation continued.
