Grantham's Wyndham Park will host a classic car show in May

A Lincolnshire park will be the venue for a new classic and vintage car show, a council said.

Wyndham Park in Grantham will host the free event on 16 May which is being organised by South Kesteven District Council and the Grantham Classic Car Club.

The show will also feature displays and dance performances, the council said.

Councillor Paul Stokes said: "We are gearing up to inspire a new generation of classic car lovers with the chance to talk to owners and drivers of vehicles covering more than 100 years of motoring history."

The event will run from 10:30 until 16:00 BST.

South Kesteven District Council said the event had been developed following "overwhelming demand" and would run alongside the annual Baston Car Show, Bourne Picnic in the Park, and Stamford Car Show.
