Violent disorder charges over city street fight

A teenage boy and three men have been charged in connection with reported disorder in Sheffield.

Officers attended Firth Park Road at about 16:30 GMT on Monday after reports of a group of people said to be armed with wood and poles fighting in the street, according to South Yorkshire Police.

A force spokesperson said Ladislav Pakuta, 53, of Wade Street, had been charged with violent disorder and assault on an emergency worker, while Teodor Mizigar, 19, of Wade Street, Milan Mizigar, 23, of Ellerton Road, and a boy, 17, who cannot be named due to his age, had been charged with violent disorder.

They were remanded in custody and were due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates' Court later.

Three men aged 31, 35 and 37, who were previously arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, had been bailed pending further inquiries, the police spokesperson said.
