Man dies in Haworth house fire

A man has died in a house fire in West Yorkshire, police have said.

Emergency services were called to reports of a blaze at a property in Alma Street, in Haworth, at about 11.50 GMT.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said a man who was inside the house had died.

The force said a cordon had been put in place around the property while West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service investigated the cause of the fire.
