Police divers search park river amid murder probe
BBCPolice divers have spent the day searching a river as part of a murder investigation.
Adam Lucas, who was thought to have been in his 50s, was found dead in Victoria Park, Leamington Spa, on 15 April.
Officers from the Underwater Search Unit were at the park searching the River Leam on Sunday.
A post-mortem examination has established that Lucas died from injuries consistent with an assault. Warwickshire Police has appealed for information.
FamilyOfficers were called to Victoria Park on Wednesday morning after a member of the public saw a man in the river, police said.
The victim's family have said they are "shocked and heartbroken" over his death.
"He was an amazing and loved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin," they said in a statement issued through Warwickshire Police.
"We kindly ask that he is kept in your thoughts and prayers while we try to navigate this as a family."

The Warwickshire force has urged anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area from late Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning to contact officers.
