Photography gallery finds new home at former club
LDRSA former private member's club, which closed in June, will be brought back into use as a temporary home for a photography gallery.
The Bradford Club, which opened in 1761 and counted Sir Titus Salt and Sir Ken Morrison among its past members, will become the home of the Impressions Gallery, when its lease in Centenary Square ends in March.
The gallery will remain in the venue in Piece Hall Yard while it develops plans for a permanent home in Bradford.
Gallery director Anne McNeill, who is to step down after 26 years in the role, said the museum had a "strong track record of working beyond conventional gallery spaces".
The renowned gallery already had an established relationship with the Bradford Club, having presented pop-up exhibitions and events in the building.
McNeill said: "Returning to the former Bradford Club as a temporary home builds on our existing connection to the space, while allowing us to continue our work and think ambitiously about a permanent future in the city."

The Impressions Gallery moved from York to Bradford in 2005, and had a record number of visitors during Bradford's Year as UK City of Culture.
Director McNeill will remain in post until the end of March, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
She said: "After 26 years, now feels like the right moment to hand over the reins and make space for new leadership and fresh ideas as Impressions enters the next chapter in its long and successful history."
