Visitors urged to avoid beach after landslide
BBCAuthorities have urged people to stay away from a beach in north Wales following a landslide.
North Wales Police said the incident had taken place near the car park on Nefyn beach, Gwynedd, urging visitors to "stay well away" from the affected area as more landslides could occur.
The area had been roped off on Tuesday afternoon.
The force added that the Coastguard and local council would be assessing the situation as a matter of urgency.
Beachfront properties were affected by a nearby landslip in December, causing the floors of some of the properties to collapse.
A path linking Nefyn with Morfa Nefyn also had to close after a "chunk" was lost in last year's landslip.
