Town celebrations to be held on Valentine's Day
Lara King / BBCThere will be a whole lot of love in Immingham this Valentine's Day as a festival is held to celebrate the town.
A range of free activities will be taking place, including pop-up markets, live music and a coach tour to the Port of Immingham, which is the UK's largest port.
Immingham Town Council clerk Lucy Waller, said: "The day will celebrate the pride and affection residents have for their town."
Love Immingham is the first of a series of Love Your Towns festivals, with others being held in Grimsby on Saturday 21 March and Cleethorpes on Saturday 28 March.
Lara King / BBCThe event will feature the Immingham Heart Trail across shops in the town centre, a children's party, an artisan market, a selfie station and circus workshops.
North East Lincolnshire Council's portfolio holder for culture, heritage and the visitor economy Councillor Hayden Dawkins said: "The events have grown year on year, and I'm really pleased to see these back again.
"They're a great way of not only celebrating our towns, but also getting out and about and doing something different."
Barbara and John Dawson told BBC Radio Humberside: "We have enjoyed living in Immingham for 60 odd years now. It's alright".
Mark and Clare De La Touche run the First Stop Cafe on a pink double decker bus in Immingham town centre.
"Everyone is really friendly," they said.
"If anyone needs anything, they all just get together and help each other out."
The Love Your Town events are funded by the government's Shared Prosperity Fund.
