Train services between two stations were suspended for a few hours due to a fallen tree on the railway.

London Northwestern Railway said all lines were blocked between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey in Hertfordshire at about 07:45 GMT.

Replacement buses were put on during the morning commute until the tree was removed.

The company said just before 10:00 that the lines had been reopened.
