Reward of £10,000 offered in murder suspect search
West Midlands PoliceA £10,000 reward has been offered in the hunt for a suspect after a man was murdered in Birmingham.
Chris Ikouara, 19, was found with fatal stab injuries at an address on Olton Boulevard East, Acocks Green, on 13 January and was pronounced dead at the scene.
West Midlands Police have since launched an appeal to try and track down 22-year-old suspect Zachariah Liburd.
As part of the search, the Crimestoppers charity has offered the cash reward to anyone with information that leads to Liburd's arrest.
Det Ch Insp Phil Poole, of West Midlands Police, urged people who might know where he is to get in touch and said details given would be treated "in complete confidence".
"You might think your information is irrelevant but it could make a difference," he added.
To be eligible for the reward, information must be given directly to Crimestoppers, not police, by calling 0800 555 111 or via the charity's website.
