Second suspect in court after man, 61, killed in street stabbing
BBCA second suspect has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 61-year-old man near his Glasgow home.
James Greenhorn was critically injured in the Tollcross area of the city on 9 February.
Kyle Morrison - who turned 23 on the day of the alleged attack - is accused of pursuing Greenhorn and repeatedly striking him on the head and body with a knife.
Morrison made no plea when he appeared in private before Glasgow Sheriff Court.
The charge also stated Morrison, of Dalness Close, Tollcross, repeatedly punched and kicked Greenhorn on the head and body.
He was remanded in custody and committed for further examination by Sheriff Collette Gallagher.
Last Friday co-accused Sean Murray, 30, appeared on an identical murder charge.
He also faced an allegation of attempting to pervert the course of justice between 9 and 11 February.
It is claimed that Murray boarded a train from Edinburgh Waverley train station to Liverpool.
The charge says this was done to avoid detection, arrest and prosecution for the murder allegation.
Murray, of the city's Shettleston, made no plea.
He was also remanded in custody and committed for further examination.
