Father and son accused of murdering man in Inverness

A 38-year-old man has appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court charged with murder.

David Wallace is accused of repeatedly striking Arturs Juskins on the neck and body with a knife and murdering him in the city's Balloan Road on Friday. He made no plea and was remanded in custody.

Mr Wallace's 21-year-old son Lyall Wallace appeared on the same charge on Monday. Both men are from Inverness.

In statement released by Police Scotland, Mr Juskins' family said: "Arturs was a much-loved son, father and partner who will be greatly missed."
