Man charged after police officer among three hurt on bus

A police officer was among three people injured after a disturbance on a bus in Aberdeen.

Police Scotland were called to the Ellon Road area of the city at about 17:15 on Friday.

Two women and a male officer received what were described as minor injuries.

A force spokesperson said a 26-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with assault and was due to appear before Aberdeen Sheriff Court later.
