Firefighters to remain at Grimsby blaze overnight
Firefighters tackling a major blaze in Grimsby will remain on scene throughout the night, the fire service says.
Humberside Fire and Rescue said it received a call at about 16:00 GMT reporting a fire at a workshop on Railway Street.
A spokesperson said six fire engines and an aerial ladder were in attendance initially but the incident had now been scaled down to one engine and an aerial ladder.
Humberside Police said it was supporting the fire service and had advised people to avoid the area.
MediaNewsGNPPeople were also asked to keep windows and doors closed.
Pictures showed flames coming from the roof of Grimsby Car Salvage.
The fire service said the blaze had not spread to any other buildings.
