Two boys, 14, arrested for arson after cinema fire
Jean VidalTwo 14-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire broke out at a derelict cinema in Kent.
Emergency services were called to St George's Place in Canterbury at about 14:15 GMT on Saturday after reports of a fire at the former Odeon cinema site.
Police said officers attended to assist with road closures and the temporary evacuation of local residents, while Kent Fire & Rescue Service crews extinguished the fire.
Two boys were arrested on suspicion of arson and have since been bailed.
The fire is being treated as suspicious and an investigation remains ongoing, police said.
