Firefighters tackle wind turbine blaze

Firefighters were called to a wind farm after a turbine caught fire.

Crews from Ulverston, Barrow, Coniston and Broughton stations went to the blaze at Kirkby Moor before 15:10 GMT.

Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was "small" and posed no risk to the public.

It took several hours for the flames to be extinguished.

The service did not say what the cause of the fire was.
