Parkrun cancelled as mark of respect after death

A Parkrun event has been cancelled as a mark of respect after a girl's body was found.

Emergency services were called to North Walsham Memorial Park, in Norfolk, just after 07:00 GMT on Thursday.

Police said a girl in her late teens was confirmed dead at the scene. Her death is not believed to be suspicious and her next-of-kin have been informed.

North Walsham Parkrun said its meet-up at Memorial Park would not go ahead as planned on Saturday.
