A supermarket shop front in West Sussex has been damaged in a ram-raid.

A vehicle reversed into a Co-op store in Lindfield High Street in the early hours of Thursday, police said.

Nothing was reported stolen and a group of suspects left the area in a separate vehicle, the force added.

A police investigation has been launched after a report of criminal damage and a break-in.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information is urged to contact the force.
