Equestrian firm 'heartbroken' after fire destroys warehouse
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue ServiceOwners of an equestrian company said they were "heartbroken" after a fire ripped through its warehouse destroying all its stock.
Ten fire crews were sent to Parallax Equestrian and Plastics, in Peck Lane, Gunthorpe, Nottinghamshire, at 09:42 GMT on Thursday.
In a social media post, the owners of the family-run business said they were "saddened" to confirm its buildings and all its stock were lost in the "devastating" fire.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews had left the scene and a joint police and fire investigation into the cause was due to start. No-one was injured.
The blaze had also spread to a neighbouring cottage, the fire service added.

"Tragically, the fire has destroyed our buildings and all of our stock.
"As a small business, this is an incredibly difficult moment for us.
"Our immediate focus is assessing the damage and work out the best way forward.
"We will get back to all customers as soon as we possibly can, but we kindly ask for your patience and understanding while we regroup and work through the situation."
The firm thanked its customers for their support during the "challenging time", adding it "truly means a lot".
