Lorry found abandoned and blocking road

A lorry was found by police abandoned and blocking both lanes of a road off the A1.

Cambridgeshire Police said it was called to Toll Bar Way, in Sawtry, at 03:20 GMT on 26 January.

Police said the vehicle was found with a split to its side, a flat tyre and a mini digger in the back and officers were unable to find its driver.

The force said its investigation was still ongoing and has asked anyone with information to get in touch.
