Investigation after town centre disturbance
GoogleA street in Rotherham was sealed off by police earlier after reports of a disturbance.
South Yorkshire Police said officers were called to College Street following reports of a man being assaulted by two other men just before 14:30 BST.
He was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries, officers said.
A police spokesperson said it is believed the suspects left the scene in a vehicle and added an investigation is under way.
A police cordon on College Street has since been removed, they added.
