Joshua Moore was described as an "extremely dangerous sexual predator"

An "extremely dangerous sexual predator" has been jailed for 25 years after being found guilty of five charges of raping a young girl.

Joshua Moore, 32, of Keighley, was found guilty of the offences as well as charges of assault by penetration and making indecent images after a trial at Bradford Crown Court.

He was sentenced on 20 March to 25 years in jail and told he would serve an additional four years on licence after his release.

He was also made to sign the sex offenders register for life and given an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.

Det Con Stuart Barrows said Moore was "an extremely dangerous sexual predator who has shown no remorse throughout the case".

He said: "He has had to put his victim through a trial, where she has had to relive the ordeal again.

"The actions of Moore are abhorrent and disgusting and while this significant sentence will never undo what's happened, I hope it can provide some comfort to the young girl as she tries to rebuild her life."
