Snow has fallen over parts of Scotland following a "plunge" of Arctic air.

Shetland, the Highlands and Aberdeenshire have been among places to have snow on Wednesday and Thursday.

Just last week, a spring temperature of 20.2C was recorded at Fyvie in Aberdeenshire - the warmest of the year so far.
