Pedestrian seriously injured in crash
GoogleA pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Rotherham.
Emergency services were called to Drummond Street at 21:45 GMT on Saturday to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a black Volkswagen Golf.
On Sunday, South Yorkshire Police said the pedestrian, a man in his 60s, remained in hospital.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene to assist officers with their inquiries, the force added.
A police spokesperson said early inquiries suggested the Volkswagen had been travelling along Drummond Street, away from the Clifton area, when the collision occurred.
Anyone with information about the collision or footage is asked to contact South Yorkshire Police.
