Woman dies following crash with bus
PacemakerA woman has died and a bus driver has been seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in Templepatrick, County Antrim.
It happened on the Ballyrobin Road - one of the main roads to Belfast International Airport - just before 08:00 GMT on Saturday.
The woman, who was driving black Citroen C1, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police said the driver of the bus, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital "with serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening".
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) was alerted to the crash at 07:58 GMT and attended the scene along with police officers.
They said following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
A spokesperson for Translink confirmed that one of the company's airport bus services was involved in the collision.
They said they were working closely with the police and other relevant authorities as their investigation continues.
"Our thoughts are with all those affected by this incident. The safety and well-being of our passengers and staff is our priority," the firm added.
Several Translink bus services to and from Belfast International Airport were cancelled earlier on Saturday.
The Ballyrobin Road, which was closed for a time, re-opened on Sunday.

Officers from the PSNI's Collision Investigation Unit have appealed to anyone who witnessed the crash, or who has footage from the scene, to contact them.
