Fresh nuggets for boy after dad steals his food
A video has gone viral of a four-year-old boy who was left in tears after his dad stole his last chicken nugget at a football match.
Rory was devastated when his dad took his last chicken nugget at a home game of their beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers - and his despair was caught on the stadium's big screen.
Since the match against Newcastle on 18 January, dad Tom said people had stopped him the street to call him a "chicken nugget thief".
All eyes were on them again a fortnight later when they returned to the Molineux to see Wolves play Bournemouth and club mascot Wolfie presented Rory with a new bag of nuggets.
FamilyThere was a further surprise for Rory when Wilfred, Wolfie's fellow mascot, visited him at home to give him and his sister a whole load of club goodies.
Of the theft, Tom told BBC Radio WM: "I thought I'd gotten away with it until I saw the video on the night.
"Random people at work, walking down the road will say, 'You're the chicken nugget thief, aren't you?'
"What Wolves have done is brilliant. They sorted us seats and gave Rory a fresh load of chicken nuggets. They gave him strip memberships and they also gave my daughter some bits and pieces which was really good of them.
"The mascot Wilfred coming to the house was just brilliant."
