A multi-storey car park is closing for two days so shutters damaged in a crash can be replaced.

Lurke Street Car Park in Bedford will be shut on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 January.

Its entrance and exit suffered "accidental damage" in April 2025, Bedford Borough Council said. Two people needed hospital treatment when a car hit a post.

Earlier the same month, a vehicle had hit a pillar. Season ticket holders will be able to use St Peters Street Car Park.
