Firefighters were called to the thatched cottage late on Friday afternoon

Multiple fire crews are at the scene of a thatched cottage fire in Wiltshire.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) said it was called to Tank Lane in Broad Chalke, near Wilton, at about 17:33 BST.

Crews from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are also in attendance.

Wiltshire Police said the main road into the village has been closed, and people have been advised to avoid the area.
