Derelict shops to be demolished for redevelopment

Ten vacant city centre units are set to be demolished after plans were given the go-ahead.

The Steel Man sculpture is being moved to Goodwin PLC, where it was originally cast in 1974.

The authority said the overspend was largely being driven by the high cost of children in care.
