A woodland is being created for a woman who died aged 39 after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

The town council is considering a number of options for the Market Yard site.

The land has been blocked by a council in the hope that homes will be built there.

Frome Medical Centre in Somerset said it had reduced prescribing by more than 22,000 items.

Somerset Council wants to reduce the speed limit on the Frome Bypass where six have died since 2023.

The proposals also include the building of a primary school, sports facilities and two care homes.
