Western Isles councillors are divided over the long-term future of the facility in Stornoway.

Since a surcharge was introduced on single-use cups there has been a 94% drop in usage.

Three officers are receiving tuition and the training has been offered to others based in the Western Isles.

First Minister John Swinney previously said 15 June should be designated as a national bank holiday.

Fara, Colin Macleod and Mànran have also been announced for the event in July.

NHS Western Isles says staff have reported being threatened and physically assaulted.

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar says increases will help plug a hole in its budget.
