A 50-year-old man was left with "life‑threatening injuries" after being hit by a van on Monday.

He walked through the doors of the Scunthorpe shop as a 15-year-old and has no plans to retire.

Malik Shahzad, 46, has been sentenced to 16 years in prison and handed a restraining order for life.
