Austin residents react to bar shooting
Residents of Austin, Texas, described the mass shooting at a downtown bar as a "tragedy."
"This is a place where late at night people feel safe to drink, let loose, walk around. You never expect someone to do something like this here in downtown Austin", said local resident Bob Deprato.
Two people were killed and over a dozen injured in a shooting outside a beer garden in the city's downtown
Police said they shot and killed the suspect, bringing the death toll to three.
Acting Special Agent in Charge Alex Doran, from the FBI's San Antonio office, said there were indications in the SUV and on the suspect that suggested a "nexus to terrorism".
