Make one of our cool pop-up cards for your mate's birthday or special day, designed by pupils at Wayland Community High School.It's easy and fun - just follow our instructions.
Step 6 Now fold the paper in half again and open up the slit so that it points outwards. This will be the beak of the bird.
Step 7 Next, make sure the paper is the right way up (with the folded bit at the bottom) and draw two eyes and a mouth. Remember to colour in the paper inside the beak.
Step 8 Draw a bird shape and then cut it out, with the folded edge on the bottom.
Step 9 It should look like this. You may want to use double sided sticky tape or glue to keep the edges together.
You can make as many different faces as you want. This one is a lady with curly hair. Remember, the longer the slit, the bigger the mouth.
Your card is now ready to give to your mate or your family.
