Scotland has over 550 golf courses and is regarded worldwide as the home of golf. This series takes us on a journey around the country to explore the well-known courses as well as some of its hidden gems, and opens the door to golf. We hear from golfers young and old, male and female, blind and disabled players, and from those who make their living working in golf, plus we capture tips from professionals along the way.
In this episode, we follow professional golfer Laura Murray through some of her training programme as she competes on the European Tour. We take an aerial journey across courses in Fife, including the Old Course in St Andrews where the rules of golf as we know them today were first established and where pro Scott Herald plays the infamous 17th Road Hole. Also, professional coach Keil Beveridge demonstrates his weekly top playing tip.
