Fearghal Mag Uiginn goes on a historical journey, sixty years since the decision was made to locate the north’s second university in Coleraine instead of Derry. He speaks to Garbhán Downey from the Derry University Group and Malachy O’Neill from Ulster University to find out what happened since the Magee Campus was set up in Derry. He also hears from Dr Eleanor Gaffney, who was in the first group of doctors to graduate from the new medical school in Derry’s Ulster University this year.
