Richie Brave discusses the aftermath of the category 5 Hurricane which hit Jamaica this week, Hurricane Melissa and what people in the diaspora and beyond can do to support the Jamaican community. Joining him for this conversation is writer and cultural commentator, Marianne Sunshine and consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist based in Kingston, Jamaica, Dr Leo Walker.

It's also been 5 years of 1Xtra Future Figures. Richie announces the 20 people who are honourees for 2025 and catches up with 2025 Future Figure Javeno Mclean on how the last few years have been and talk his recent Pride of Britain award.

And lastly Richie sits down with writer and creator of BBC Three's hit show "Dreaming whilst Black" Adjani Salmon. As a Jamaican man Adjani discusses what he wants to see for his home country and also talks the journey to creating season 2 of Dreaming whilst Black and what it's like to be a Black writer and creator telling his own stories on screen.
