‘Round Midnight is presented by award-winning saxophonist Soweto Kinch. This weekday late-night show celebrates the thriving UK jazz scene and spotlights the best new music alongside incredible acts from past decades.
All this week, French-Syrian flautist and composer Naïssam Jalal has been Soweto’s guest for 4/4. Rounding off her week, Naïssam picks a record by a pioneering harpist and pianist that has deeply influenced her.
There is also music from Eun and Demae, Nnenna Freelon, and Mary Halvorson and sylvie courvoisier.
