There’s something very magical about the threshold when day becomes night. Composer and pianist Erland Cooper invites you to escape into calm with him, with musical selections inspired by watching the light fall at dusk. There’ll be music from Duval Timothy, Caroline Shaw and David Lynch.

Plus we’ll travel to the musical safe haven of singer, songwriter and guitarist Ichiko Aoba. She tells us about a piece of music that is often the first song she plays in an unfamiliar place, because it brings her instant calm.
