St Olaf's Wasdale Head
A service from England’s smallest parish church, St Olaf’s, Wasdale Head, in the Lake District.
A service of Morning Prayer from England’s smallest parish church, St Olaf’s at Wasdale Head, set just beyond Wast Water, England’s deepest lake. Surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery, the low-roofed church with its simple wooden pews stands where the valley begins to rise towards Great Gable and Scafell Pike. The service is led by Rosalind Amey and the producer is Andrew Earis.
Reading: Psalm 121
Music (sung by St Martin's Voices):
All things bright and beautiful
For the beauty of the earth
Great is thy faithfulness
A Gaelic Blessing - John Rutter
