Bonnie “Prince” Billy is the musical alias of Will Oldham, a Louisville‑born singer‑songwriter and actor whose work has shaped the sound of modern alternative folk. Emerging in the early 1990s with the Palace Brothers, he became known for his raw, emotionally direct recordings before adopting the Bonnie “Prince” Billy name in 1998. His music blends traditional folk influences with poetic, often disarming lyricism and a distinctive vocal delivery. Hie new album We Are Together Again is out 6 March.
Alice Boyd is a British composer and sound artist known for her work blending music with environmental themes. Her compositions often weave together field recordings and organic textures to create immersive soundscapes that reflect the natural world. Alice produces Found Sounds episodes for Ffern’s acclaimed podcast As the Season Turns, blending music and field recordings to explore seasonal changes.
