Take time out with a 30-minute soundscape of classical music, including works by Lili Boulanger, Claude Debussy, Eric Whitacre, and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor.
Half and hour of back-to-back classical music to help wind down at the end of a busy day. This sequence begins with an enchanting Lili Boulanger composition conjuring up 'spring mornings', before moving back in time to Anna Bon's Flute Sonata No 2, composed when she was just 16 in 1756. Also in the mix is a gentle guitar arrangement of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's Deep River, Claude Debussy's iconic Arabesque No 1, and the balletic Prelude from Cécile Chaminade's Callirhoé. Eric Whitacre's gorgeous 'The Seal Lullaby' closes today's Classical Mixtape.
