As we approach the end of National Apprenticeship Week, we’ll talk to local girl Ellie, who once qualified could become the first woman to captain the Mersey Ferry in its 800-year history.

And, Frank Cottrell Boyce will be in conversation with author of ‘Hard Days Night’ Samira Ahmed at Liverpool Waterstones this coming Spring.

They’ll be exploring how a film made to capture a pop phenomenon became a cinematic classic, Frank will join us to tell us more.
