Oscar-winning actor Riz Ahmed talks about realising his lifelong dream, playing Hamlet in a new version of the classic play set in the British South Asian community in London.

The Oscar and Emmy winner- and Star Wars actor - Riz Ahmed discusses his new film, Hamlet, that’s in cinemas from tomorrow. In this version of the classic Shakespeare text the action is set in London, in the British South-Asian community. It’s been a long-term passion project for Ahmed, who plays the title role, and he’s alongside a great supporting cast of Art Malik, Morfydd Clark Joe Alwyn and Timothy Spall. He chats to Len about his take on the play.

Writer Louise Welsh discusses her new novel The Cut Up. It’s the third in her ‘Rilke’ series, following 2002’s The Cutting Room, which won multiple awards, and 2022’s The Second Cut.

And Len hears about a new exhibition opening tomorrow, telling the story of the fashion and lifestyle label Biba, which in just over 10 years, became a style phenomenon of the 1960s and 70s.
