Lyceum at Home, Beacon Book Festival, and St Joan play
Artistic director James Brining and playwright Stephen Greenhorn talk to Len about Lyceum at Home, a series of new plays performed in your own home.
Lyceum at Home is a project where members of the public can apply to have a brand new play performed in their home, in celebration of the Edinburgh theatre’s 60th birthday. Alexander McCall Smith and Apphia Campbell and Stephen Greenhorn are among the writers involved, and Stephen joins Len to tell her more alongside the theatre’s artistic director James Brining.
Co- director of the inaugural Beacon Book Festival in Greenock, Lesley Davidson, chats about what it takes to get a new book festival off the ground and what she hopes this one will bring to the local area.
