For All Queens Day, Cerys welcomes Camilla George on composition, Jesca Hoop in session, and archive gems from Delia Derbyshire and Daphne Oram, honouring pioneers of women’s sound.

Cerys marks International Women’s Day with a celebration of women transforming music and sound. She’s joined by saxophonist and composer Camilla George, whose Afrofuturist jazz blends African folklore, swing traditions and narrative‑rich composition, drawing on the stories behind albums like Ibio Ibio and The People Could Fly.

She also welcomes Jesca Hoop for a live session. Now based in Manchester, the American‑born singer‑songwriter brings her distinctive mix of experimental folk and harmony‑led Americana, shaped by a musical upbringing and a formative period working with Tom Waits.

Plus, Cerys opens the archive for two Radiophonic pioneers: Delia Derbyshire, demonstrating the hands‑on tape techniques behind her early electronic work, and Daphne Oram, introducing her visionary Oramics system and her belief in music as a way of thinking.

Cerys brings it all together with an 'All Queens' hand‑picked playlist from her classic shelves and standout new discoveries.
