Episode 10
Every ounce of Scottish football, from the SPFL to the Sunday league ringers. It means everything, it means nothing, and this is the view of the fans on the terrace.
A View from The Terrace is back, and it’s time to talk about why the globe is watching Scottish football, watching the world cup in your jammies and how Maradonna’s son nearly signed for Clyde.
The gang is back and what a time to be watching Scottish football, Fergie is a maroon tie, Hearts are a juggernaut, Motherwell make Brazil look like cloggers, and Rangers and Celtic are stumbling around and it’s so good the entire world is watching. After being off for a bit the team go back around some of the weirdest and best things that have happened, winning cups and getting relegated, ripping up plastic pitches but also forcing teams to play on them, relentlessly awful goal music and calling your own team jobby. Scottish football is back and she’s beautiful!
Then with the window not long shut we revel in what makes the frantic winter window special, a chaotic chain-smoking cousin of the cocktail sipping summer window. We look at the high watermarks, the over-hyped flops and revel once more in just how good that Aaron Ramsey corner was at Annan.
We then take a look ahead to this week’s action to find out where we need to be pitching up to watch our football before playing a little game called the Banker.
In the wee film we meet Scotland superstar Ben Doak in Bournemouth as he talks openly and honestly about his path through football and how faith has been the driving force for him.
