Ameretat's Humanity Playlist
In the first of a series of playlists from acts playing this year's Supersonic festival, S from Ameretat plays an hour of his favourite punk, metal, and hardcore tracks.
S from Ameretat explores our common humanity with an hour of his favourite punk, metal, new wave and hardcore tracks with a sprinkling of Iranian folk and psychedelic rock.
Ameretat are a group based in the Iranian diaspora, who blend traditional Iranian musical and literary influences with crust, hardcore and drone. Using both ancient and modern instruments, they explore themes of war, power, love and humanity in multiple languages including Persian, Kurdish and English.
This is the first of a series of playlists from acts playing this year's Supersonic festival in Birmingham.
