Erland Cooper curates a musical love letter to flowers, with peaceful songs that bloom and blossom, and a safe haven from horticulturalist Poppy Okotcha.
A huge part of Scottish composer Erland Cooper’s inspiration is the natural world, and in this episode he curates a musical love letter to flowers, reflecting on some of his favourite blooms and blossoms and sharing tracks from artists including Alice Coltrane, Emily A. Sprague and Lucinda Chua.
Also, we’re transported to the musical safe haven of the horticulturalist and forager Poppy Okotcha, who takes us out into her garden to listen a little closer to the bustling ecosystems to be found there.
