Consumer journalist Rebecca Wilcox shares the best money-saving options, from social tariffs and WaterSure discounts - which could slash bills by up to £200 - to flexible payment plans that are often just a call away. Quick fixes like repairing leaks, shorter showers, and full wash loads help keep costs down, while many water firms offer free gadgets, like efficient shower heads and tap aerators, to cut usage without changing daily habits or disrupting daily routines.
